Bronze is a mixture of copper and tin, brass is copper and zinc. Other elements are added in small quantities to give certain properties to alloys. There are over 400 copper based alloys used today. Some are for casting, others are for extruding.
Recyclers call it “red-brass”(bronze) or “yellow-brass”(brass).
